This 4-hour class is highly intense. It brings you into the world of the (DHH) Deaf & hard of hearing population so very needed in today\’s climate, especially with what is happening at agencies & government throughout the country. Increase your knowledge and understanding of the unique needs of those with hearing loss. Leverage liability w/compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Unlike popular belief and misunderstanding, American Sign Language (ASL) is NOT taught. If you wish to take a class on emergency ASL, please call our Los Angeles office at 661 347-0911. You will, however, learn the ASL alphabet. It will be extremely helpful in the performance of your duties as well as in your personal life.
