Deaf Sensitivity Training. Take a ride with us into the world of silence. Get a feel of how those who are Deaf or hard of hearing survive in their own live and thriving Deaf Community. We’ll show you some aspects of Deaf Culture and how to interact with those who face this life challenge of hearing loss. This class will prepare you as seasoned officers, dispatchers, animal control staff, crisis intervention and more to understand their fears and likes and idiosyncrasies exhibited to improve your service to the community. A class is available in Reno, Nevada at the Regional Training Center for law enforcement and other public safety agencies in the capitol area of Carson City. The center is located at 5190 Spectrum Blvd in Reno. The class is Nevada POST certified.
