Deaf Sensitivity Training. Take a ride with us into the world of silence. Get a feel of how those who are Deaf or hard of hearing survive in their own live and thriving Deaf Community. We’ll show you some aspects of Deaf Culture and how to interact with those who face this life challenge of hearing loss. This class will prepare you as seasoned officers, dispatchers, animal control staff, crisis intervention and more to understand their fears and likes and idiosyncrasies exhibited to improve your service to the community. A class is available in Tucson, Pima County, AZ at the Tucson Fire Department Training Center at 300 South Fire Central Place in the City of Tucson. The class is AZ POST certified for law enforcement and is our 3rd time back to the area.
