4-hour class about understanding people who are Deaf and hard of hearing. Learning the lifestyle and specific needs of this population assists greatly in policing. Actual learning about the very much alive and thriving Deaf culture and Deaf community is vital in your service to this population.
This class has been requested by SC agencies who have taken the class at an academy in North Carolina last year.
